Who we are

Rooted in Sampalocan, Antipolo City

We are a PCNC-certified non-profit organisation working in Sitio Sampalocan, Barangay San Jose — a community in the hills on the eastern edge of Metro Manila where many families live with very little.

Our work began with a simple conviction: that every child deserves the chance to be safe, to be seen, and to know they matter. Today that conviction takes shape through a Drop-in Centre, weekly children's and youth clubs, an After School Program, maternal health support and regular community outreach.

The name Rapha comes from the Hebrew word for healing. That is what we seek to be — a place of healing after hardship, and a place of refuge where children are safe, valued, respected, and given opportunities to grow and flourish.

What we do

Whole-person care, in practice

We believe caring for a child means caring for the whole person — their body, their mind, their heart and their spirit.

Care & protection

A safe place to come every day. Our Drop-in Centre and Mighty Kids club give children at risk a refuge — a consistent, welcoming space where they are known by name.

Education & growth

After-school support, creative activities, sports and one-to-one mentoring help children discover their gifts, build confidence and stay engaged with learning.

Health & family

Feeding programs, medical check-ups and our Hermanatics program for expectant mothers support the health of children and the families who raise them.

    Drop-in Centre

    A safe place to come

    Open to children from the community — somewhere to come after school, to be known by name, to play, to eat, and simply to be a child in a safe environment.

    Mighty Kids

    Every Saturday: breakfast and devotions, then playtime, crafts, snacks and milk, learning activities and exercise — ending with another nourishing meal together.

    Bible Club

    Around 20–25 young people gather each Saturday for a year-long journey through Scripture, using chronological Bible storytelling to see how it all fits together as one connected story.

    Structured after-school support and activities. We place real weight on giving children a voice — they are asked for honest feedback, and their answers shape what we do next.

    Through partnership with medical organisations we run clinic days — height and weight checks, blood pressure, doctor consultations, dental assessments and medication.

    My favourite activity was Family Day. My whole family joined. I also love rollerblading. And I like the devotions because it is there that I hear stories about God.
